Walt write a report on whales

Whales

Whales have live babies which feed on its mother’s milk for many months. Baby whales stay with their mothers until they learn how to swim and dive. Whales have beautiful soft skin.

There are two groups of whales. One group of whales have teeth and one group have no teeth. Baleen whales have no teeth, they have bristles instead. Whales with teeth eat yummy fish, dolphins and seals. Baleen whales swallow the little fish and the water comes out of the bristles and the fish gets stuck in the bristles.

Whales move by flapping their big tail up and down. Whales can swim for a long time under water and they can hold their breath for an hour. The whales blow hole is for breathing. The water can blow up to 10 meters high.

The blue whale is the largest creature ever to live on Earth. By the time it becomes an adult it is 30 meters long and it weighs 30 elephants put together.
